Some people are critical of the United Methodist Church for using this slogan thinking it means that "anything goes" in our church.  That is not the case.  Open hearts, open minds, open doors simply means to the people of this church that we understand that all people have fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23) and therefore all people are equally welcome in our church.  Lewistown-Trinity UMC is a Bible believing, Bible teaching and Bible preaching church.
