A Cooperative Ministry of Five Indian Lake Area Churches

Located in the Salvation Army Service Center
at 395 S. Main St.  Lakeview, OH

Hours of Operation

The UCS food pantry is open on the 2nd, 3rd & 4th THURSDAYS of each month from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. NOTE:  The food pantry is CLOSED the first Thursday of each month.

Qualifications

The UCS food pantry serves INCOME ELIGIBLE persons living in the INDIAN LAKE SCHOOL DISTRICT ONLY.

Other information

UCS Food Pantry DOES NOT deliver food.  Food must be picked up at 395 S. Main Street in Lakeview at the Salvation Army Service Center building.

UCS Food Pantry provides only food.  UCS does not help with rent, utilities, etc.  All of our funds are used to provide the items we supply in the food boxes.

About United Christian Services of Indian Lake, Inc.

United Christian Services of Indian Lake, Inc. Food Pantry is a 501c3 nonprofit cooperative ministry of a few Indian Lake area churches which provide monetary and/or food donations for the operation of the pantry. 

Food items are obtained by the pantry from Second Harvest Food Bank, Inc. which is located in Springfield, Ohio. Supplemental items such as bread, toilet paper, soap, etc. are also purchased locally. 

The UCS food pantry is entirely operated by volunteers. These volunteers come primarily from Galilee Lutheran Church and Lewistown-Trinity UMC.  Other volunteers are always welcome.

Lewistown-Trinity supports this cooperative ministry by providing major financial support, food and volunteers.
