Local Mission to Nicaragua this May

Katie Miller, the daughter-in-law of Lisa and Terry Miller, is a family practioner at Dr. Hodinott's office in Bellefontaine.  She and a group of doctors and nurses are going to Nicaragua in May 2011.  

To help aid in their mission there will be a donation box in both the church and the community center.  If you have any questions, please see Lisa Miller.

A Message from Katie Miller...

“I am excited to share my plans with you for a mission trip I am taking in May 2011. I am going to the Southern region of Nicaragua. I am working with Medical Teams International as part of a Medical Brigade team. We will be flying into the capital of Nicaragua then headed by plane, bus, and canoe to the Kukra River. Then we will head up river to remote villages to provide much needed healthcare to these villagers. We are anticipating that we will treat 150-200 villagers per day.”

UPDATE:  Katie has returned safely with her medical team and thanks EVERYONE for their generous support and love for this mission trip.  Soon we hope to have more information and pictures to update you on the success of the mission.
